Review cyberpunk 2077 Dlc:Phantom Liberty
On September 26th the long awaited cyberpunk dlc came out and the original game came out with a huge amount of problems, causing everyone to lose faith into the company CD Projekt Red but over these last 3 years they have been committed to improving the problems and making sure that it runs smoothly.
In this update they overhauled the entire skill tree which was such a nice change that I didn't even realize that I needed because the old system was so complicated with all these different things and values that were just confusing and not needed. The new system is much more simple and has flat values and abilities instead of long paragraphs for one skill.
The DLC adds a whole new part to the map called “Dogtown ''. This part of the map is different from the rest of the map. There is a whole secret society underground hidden from the rest of Night City.
The story starts off with someone contacting you about helping the president crash down from space and she was going to land in dog town and if V (the main character) helps with this problem song bird will fix V’s problems with the relic so that they can live longer.
In this update they also added vehicle combat which was previously missing from the original game and this part of it was free for all players including the skill tree updates and cyberware update. The vehicle combat feels really good and smooth and they did a really nice job with the system and it's another nice thing that just makes the game more fun and full.
The cyber ware was also changed a lot and they added a limit to the amount that you have and if you exceed that limit you start to go cyberpsycho and lose control of yourself. This is a really nice change because you have to really think about what you are putting in your body instead of just buying whatever you could get without really thinking about it that much. You can also increase the limit with skill points that you earn.
Overall I would rate the DLC a 8/10. It is a nice new experience that just adds to the already amazing game before and for 30 dollars I would say that it is worth it.
